I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ambra hotel, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home throughout my entire stay. The room was tastefully decorated, spacious, and impeccably clean. The hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring the city, with several attractions and dining options within walking distance. Overall, my experience at the Ambra hotel was exceptional, and I highly recommend it for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Such a cosy hotel with a perfect location! The treasure of Ambra hotel is definitely its staff. Especially, I loved the guy greeting people at breakfast (unfortunately, didn’t manage to know his name): always smiling, always welcoming - this is a person to firstly see in the mornings :) The room was absolutely lovely with a nice balcony, everything was super clean, all the needed facilities were available. It was super silent during the day and the night, so one can have a good sleep here. The breakfast was not super variable, but I’ve been staying for 4 nights and it seemed to be good enough. The location is just amazing: it was easy to get to all the famous attractions.

I have celebrated my daughter's 15 years anniversary at Ambra Hotel and I have made an excellent choice. Starting with the chocolate box and the anniversary card she found in our room at arrival and the champagne on the anniversary day, and continuing with the permanent smile we found at all staff members, our stay was full of joy and comfort. Concierge services were efficient and polite. The room was ready for check-in earlier than the usual time, which was highly appreciated as we were eager to start exploring the city. We were provided with a taxi at 4 a.m. in the departure day, also with a consistent packed breakfast, due the early check-out. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the Budapest highlights, in an area with a lot of choices for restaurants and bars, even small shops. The hotel lobby is a lovely living room, where I have enjoyed coffee provided for free in the afternoon, while lecturing magazines. The restaurant is large enough, I loved the natural light on the roof. Breakfast was rich, options for everybody – cold, hot, sweet, salted, cooked, raw. Very good coffee, excellent serving! The room was large and very clean, elegantly decorated, the window wall offered a very nice view over the street and a good place to relax. Bed, sofas, sheets, pillow, towels – soft and very clean, well-stocked mini-bar, nice grooming products.

The room size was perfect for two people. The amenities were great and the walk in shower cubicle big enough to move. Shout out to the staff who could not have been nicer. Our luggage was delayed for over a day so we were anxious about that and the staff were all very aware of and sympathetic to our situation. Location was great, especially since it was less than 10 minute walk to the nearest Hop On Hop Off bus stop at Opera.

We recently had a great stay at Ambra Hotel. The elegant decor, impeccable service, and prime location made it a perfect choice. The rooms were quiet and clean, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Excellent and diverse breakfast as well. A lot of food options and bars in the neighborhood, and only a 5 min walk to the Opera house and Opera metro station respectively. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly amazing time in Budapest.

So many great things about our stay at Ambra :) Starting with the great communication between the booking and our arrival, and they were very accommodating to our needs (as we were travelling with our 11 month old baby), such as providing a cot/crib, a quiet room, early checkin (though it was made clear it was depending on availability), etc. Also the check in staff was great (in our case David, but everyone else who we interacted with us at the reception were very nice and helpful :) ) The hotel is in a great location if you want to be a max of a 10-20 minute walk from almost everything in Budapest, while still being in a calm side street. Very close to plenty of public transportation, including the 100E bus from & to the airport which is a 10 min walk away The room was very nice and comfortable. Bathroom as well. Very clean. Breakfast was pleasant, nice options with fresh ingredients. The breakfast staff was amazing, offering to prepare something special for the baby, and very nice all around

Spotless clean, warm, real hot water available in shower, complimentary filtered water, spacious room with nice furnitures, small decorations, used books for decor or reading, smart cleaners (understanding how I want to keep my room), attention to detail (providing shoehorn, different glasses, etc.), carpet covered floors.

The hotel is very welcoming with a medium size lobby. All the receptionists where very helpful and loved their quick pre check-in as we had a late arrival and were super tired. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choices for everyone and dishes where changed immediately when empty. The room was elegant, beds where very good, bathroom spacious and everything was clean. Loved this hotel and would recommend 100%.
